What is a Weighted Sleep Suit?
The Weighted Sleep Suit is a sensory garment designed to provide calming deep-pressure input. It's crafted with evenly distributed glass bead weights to help children feel grounded, safe, and supported during sleep or rest.
Who is it designed for?
Our suits are designed for children with sensory sensitivities, anxiety, ADHD, or sleep challenges. They’re suitable for both day and night use and are often used as part of a sensory regulation toolkit.
How much does the sleep suit weigh?
Our age 8 suit weighs approximately 2.5kg, with weight distributed evenly across quilted diamond panels to ensure safety and comfort.
Is the suit safe to sleep in?
Yes, when used under supervision and following recommended weight guidelines (no more than 10% of body weight), the suit is safe. It is made with breathable cotton and includes fire safety caution labeling.
What materials are used?
The suit has a 100% cotton outer layer, cotton padding, glass bead weight inserts, and a soft cotton inner lining. It’s breathable and skin-friendly for all-night comfort.
How do I wash the suit?
Machine wash on a cold gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat to dry in shade. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
What sizes are available?
Our sizes are for ages 4–14. Sizing chart available on product page.
Can I use the suit outside of sleep time?
Absolutely! The suit can be worn during the day for calming, transitions, car travel, or quiet activities like reading or screen time.
Is this NDIS approved?
